Shakespeare in Cedar City

Each August, for probably the last decade our family has had a tradition of journeying to Cedar City, in Southern Utah for the Utah Shakespearean Festival. This year was no different, as we left our humble abode here in Nipomo and began the 600 plus mile trek to Cedar. This year, like last year we traveled in our RV,

which in itself was quite an experience. We had some initial trouble with the front air conditioner, just before we left; however, it seemed to resolve after some intial worry, and we decided to take the chance it would continue to work as we traveled across the gateway to Death Valley toward Southern Utah.

If you have ever traveled from Southern California to Cedar City in August, you know that you don't want to make that trip without air conditioning. Fortunately our air worked just fine for the entire trip to Cedar, which helped keep us cool crossing the desert. The thunderstorms we encountered just at the California border didn't hurt.
