annegb said...: Our National Guard unit, the 222nd is coming home from Ramadi. None were killed. We are so fortunate.

My son's best friend served in Iraq training Iraqi policemen. After James' suicide, he joined the Marine Corps and became a drill sargeant, however you spell it.

My heart goes out to those whose loved ones don't come home. Did you know a lot of women have died over there as well? I found a site that listed them.; 7:57 PM

annegb said...: The first group flew in yesterday. We have yellow ribbons all over town and the flag up and it's quite the celebration.

But you know, I read in the VFW magazine that one group lost eighty men. Eighty, that's a lot for a town.; 7:57 AM
